The four of us spent John's day off work visiting a farm. (Isn't that what everyone likes to do on their day off?) It was so enjoyable that we are ready to quit everything and become farmers!
Check out John's aim!
"Horsey, Horsey on our way..."
Racing rubber duckies along their water slides
Benson is our chicken whisperer
Brushing the goats to keep them soft
Saying comforting things to the 9-month pregnant donkey
And what's a farm trip without a hayride?

So how does one go about... you know, starting a farm?

It looks like you guys had a GREAT time at the farm! I'm glad! And really, you should frame that family picture from the 4th; that is one good looking family.
You'll have to ask Laura- she went on a weekend excursion at a ranch where they sheered sheep, branded cows... she's got some farm connections apparently. And Rachie too - if you want to start growin' sugar beets. Now if you're looking to start a funny farm you can come observe us first hand! (Aren't you glad you're related to a bunch of wild & kooky animals!?)
Moooove on over to AZ and we'll show ya how it's done! ;)
I hear the hardest part of starting your own farm is those rubber duck races every morning before dawn.
Moving to Harrisonburg VA of course! We have a friend who is a dentist and has a farm. Totally doable, but only if you live here. :-) And the pic of John with the milk is pretty hilarious.
Love Bensons green shades! The real question is how do I get some of those?
