The Finer Things in Life

Here are a few random cell phone pictures from this past month.   

The common theme is: the finer things in life.

Happy meals, McFlurries, and a secluded Lake Michigan beach.

Hide-and-Seek.

The boys think I'm brilliant because I always find them so quickly.

Nope, not black goth lipstick-- just a mouthful of dirt.  

Messy, bright-colored ice cream cones with the neighbors.

The fearsome foursome found a patient goat to adore.

And the same four chillin on Footsie Wootsie, the coolest hangout at the zoo (in their estimation).  These next-door neighbors just moved to NJ today, and we are crushed.

Roasting s'mores at the annual Fathers & Sons camp out.  (Too bad John didn't get an "after" picture-- evidently Benson and Cole got totally covered in sticky marshmallows and gooey chocolate!  As John was trying to clean them up using grass and tree bark, I was at home relaxing in a hot bubble bath.)

Last but not least-- exploring the local gorgeous nature trail.  Summertime in Wisconsin is the best.

Benson and Cole definitely keep us hopping and happy!
