Stars and Stripes Forever

The 3 of us kicked off Independence Day with a rollerblading/jogging/strolling trip to the local parade. The floats were fun and very creative. I cheered loudest for the Dancing Grannies. John cheered loudest for the war veterans and the fancy vintage cars.




Our little homefry all ready for the 4th of July.




Our friends invited us to "Cul-de-sac of Fire" (a block party) to celebrate the 4th of July. There was Bongo Ball, Croquet, sparklers, and a picnic barbecue. Here's John and Kenny trash talking during a game of Bongo Ball.
